The recent footage and allegations against music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has hit a nerve for so many survivors. In this episode we'll touch on coercive control, how it hides in plain sight and the devastating effects it has on one's health. The correlation between emotional abuse and auto immune diseases is frighteningly high. Medical journals have found that people with stress-related disorders such as PTSD, or complex PTSD, are 30-50% more likely to develop autoimmune diseases such as lupus, MS, rheumatoid arthritis or Hashimoto's.
